Step-by-Step Guide to Converting Your Seat

Here’s how to use our kit to get the perfect low seat for your Arctic Cat.

1. Mark the Foam
Start by finding the center of the seat foam at both the front and rear ends. Use a marker to draw a small dot or line in the center of each end. This will help you align the stickers later on.

 

2. Apply the Stickers
Take the stickers provided in the kit and apply them directly onto the seat foam. Make sure there’s about a 2mm gap between each sticker. These stickers will act as a guide for your cuts, ensuring accuracy. 

 

3. Draw Your Reference Line
Once the stickers are in place, use a marker or pen to draw a reference line just below the stickers. The line should run across the foam from one side of the seat to the other. This line will be your cutting guide.

4. Cut the Foam
Next, you’ll need a saw or knife that’s wide enough to cut cleanly through the foam. A large kitchen knife or handsaw will work well. Carefully follow the reference line and cut through the foam. Take your time to make sure the cut is even and straight.

5. Install the New Seat Cover
After you’ve finished cutting, it’s time to install the new low-profile seat cover provided in the kit. We proudly use the same system as the original seat cover to secure this one in place. This ensures a clean, tight fit and makes installation quick and easy. Simply stretch the cover over the foam, ensuring a snug fit, and secure it in place just like the OEM setup.
